SPIGO ESSENTIAL OIL
Pimpinella Anisum L.
ASK FOR SPECIFIC PRICES, AVAILABILITY and / or QUALITY
Lavender latifolia (or Spigo) is native to the Mediterranean countries, has spatulate, silvery-gray leaves covered with fine hair and linear and greenish floral bracts. In July-August it produces terminal spikes formed by pale blue flowers. It grows up to 30-80 cm. high and very afraid of frost.

The essential oil is extracted from the fresh flowering tops, to be collected during the flowering period, by steam distillation. The product obtained is a pale yellow liquid that gives off a perfume with an intense floral fragrance.
