VERBENA ESSENTIAL OIL
Perennial herbaceous plant with wooden stem that can exceed 3 meters in height. with lanceolate leaves gathered in small groups and small red flowers. Verbena is widely cultivated in the countries of the Mediterranean basin. Due to its typical scent it is also called limoncella. Known since ancient times, it was used by the Egyptians for propitiatory rites.
The essential oil is obtained from the leaves with the method of steam distillation and a yellowish liquid with a pleasant citrus scent is obtained.
