ABSOLUTE OAK MOSS
Oak moss is one of the few aromatic plants not belonging to the superior species and perhaps it is to this that it owes its primitive charm. Its aroma is capable of influencing the most primitive part of our nature without our knowledge, because its molecules are similar to animal pheromones, of universal fame for its aphrodisiac and restorative power.
It is no coincidence that the musk deer feeds almost exclusively on moss. Pheromones are molecules that have the structure of hormones but with the particularity of being able to "fly" in the air, of being volatile, to meet the sense of smell of the opposite sex, through which they stimulate the endocrine system that manages the reproductive impulses of all animal species. For this reason, Oak Moss has a sensual value that few vegetable aromas have. Provides the base note of many fragrances on the market.
